fosters community, and reflects the brand's personality.
We're seeking a creative, organized, and socially savvy Social Media Coordinator to
bring both Sunny’s and our new concept, After Hours, to life across digital platforms.
Position Summary
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for executing the day-to-day social
media presence for Sunny's and After Hours.
This role combines content planning, community engagement, storytelling, social
publishing, and creative collaboration. You'll work closely with the Digital Media
Operations Manager and content production team to ensure every platform feels
active, intentional, polished, and aligned with our brand standards.
The ideal candidate understands social media beyond posting content; they
understand audience behavior, platform culture, brand voice, and how to create
meaningful interactions that strengthen brand affinity.

Key Responsibilities
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for managing and posting on:
● Instagram
● TikTok
● Facebook
● Facebook Groups
● Nextdoor
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for ensuring these platforms feel active,
aligned, and consistent with Sunny’s and After Hours' standards.
Social Media Management & Publishing
● Execute social media content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Facebook
Groups, and Nextdoor
● Schedule and publish approved content according to established content
calendars
● Maintain platform consistency and brand alignment across all channels
● Ensure social platforms remain active, polished, and engaging
Content Planning & Strategy Support
● Develop weekly content plans and publishing recommendations
● Collaborate with leadership on campaign execution and content priorities
● Identify content opportunities, trends, and creative concepts
● Contribute ideas for monthly high-impact or viral content initiatives
● Assist in content performance analysis and future content recommendations
Community Engagement
● Manage public-facing interactions across platforms
● Respond to comments, tags, mentions, and community conversations
● Build authentic relationships with followers and local audiences
● Monitor audience feedback and surface insights to leadership
● Help strengthen brand loyalty through thoughtful engagement
Stories & Real-Time Content
● Maintain consistent weekday story activity
● Share behind-the-scenes moments, updates, and campaign support content
● Repurpose approved user-generated content and tagged posts
● Keep story content visually cohesive and on-brand
Local Community Marketing
● Execute Facebook Group and Nextdoor content initiatives
● Support local awareness campaigns, hiring efforts, events, and
announcements
● Adapt messaging for different community audiences
● Help strengthen neighborhood-level engagement and visibility
Content Production Support
● Collaborate with videographers and creative team members during content
shoots
● Assist with content planning, shot lists, and social-first content opportunities
● Ensure content captured aligns with campaign objectives and publishing
needs
● Provide creative feedback and execution support during production days
Required Qualifications
● 1–3 years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand, agency,
restaurant, hospitality business, or creator
● Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Next Door, and
emerging social trends
● Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
● Experience creating captions and adapting messaging across platforms
● Ability to stay organized while managing multiple deadlines
● Comfortable receiving feedback and working within structured approval
processes
● Strong attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency
● Availability to attend occasional content shoots and marketing activations

Work Schedule & Reporting Structure
Schedule
● Part-Time (up to 20 hours per week)
● Flexible scheduling based on content calendar, campaigns, and shoot
schedules
● Occasional availability required for content shoots and special events
Reporting Structure
Reports directly to the Digital Media Operations Manager.
Works closely with:

● Videographer / Creative Team
● Chief Marketing Officer (through approval process)
Pay: $18.00 per hour
