Experienced Maintenance Technician – Immediate Opening
Full-time - 40-50 hours per week | Fort Collins / Loveland
We are a growing property management company seeking an experienced, highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team immediately. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and can confidently handle a wide variety of maintenance and renovation projects with minimal supervision.
We're looking for a true maintenance professional. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in residential maintenance, apartment turns, HVAC, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, and general property upkeep.
What You'll Be Doing
- Complete apartment and home turns from start to finish
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance issues
- Perform drywall repair, painting, flooring installation and repair, carpentry, and finish work
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine the most effective solution
- Complete service requests efficiently and professionally
- Conduct preventive maintenance and property inspections
- Maintain curb appeal through grounds cleanup, trash removal, and exterior maintenance as needed
- Coordinate materials and manage projects independently
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations when necessary - overnight and weekends
- Help maintain a high standard across multiple residential properties throughout Northern Colorado
What We're Looking For
- 5–10+ years of maintenance experience in residential, multifamily, construction, or related trades
- Availability for full-time work: 40-50 hours per week
- Strong working knowledge of:
- HVAC systems
- Plumbing repairs and installations
- Electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Drywall, painting, flooring, and carpentry
- Appliance repair and installation
- Ability to independently diagnose problems and complete repairs correctly the first time
- Experience completing apartment turns and preparing units for new residents
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
- Reliable, professional, and trustworthy
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Team player who is also comfortable working independently
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation (truck or SUV preferred; ability to pull a trailer is a plus)
- Personal set of tools suitable for maintenance work
- Cell phone for communication and work order management
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- $25–$30/hour as a 1099 contractor, depending on experience and qualifications
