Creative, Dynamic Preschool Teacher
Rose Hill Montessori is an arts-based preschool for children 2-5 years old. Our philosophy is inspired by Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Emergent Curriculums. We are looking for a teacher who can be a leader while working closely with our team. We are seeking creative teachers who bring enthusiasm, innovative ideas, and a love for children. We want to hear your ideas and how you can make our school even better.
Applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Child Development Associates, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or active plan to obtain Early Childhood Degree
- Three (3) years of experience working with pre-school children (2-5 years of age) preferred
- Ability to plan appropriate classroom activities, observing children’s behaviors, maintaining educational records, take photos, and communicate with parents
- Knowledge of progressive approaches to Early Childhood Education
- Mastery of child development including typical and atypical language, cognitive, motor, social, and self-help skills development
- Exceptional supervisory and leadership skills; capability to motivate others
- Warm and loving demeanor and ability to build rapport with children and adults
- Maintain the health and safety of all students, keep a clean and organized classroom
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivator; ability to multi-task and work efficiently and effectively under deadlines
- Montessori Training a plus
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn federal, state, and local rules and regulations which govern childcare (DOH Article 47 standards) or willingness to learn

Pay: $40,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
