Narberth Animal Hospital is an independent full service medical and surgical facility for small animals and exotics. The hospital has served the Main Line for over sixty years providing superior comprehensive, compassionate, and preventive care.
We are looking for an experienced technician who is highly motivated, compassionate, friendly person to join our expanding solo doctor practice . The ideal candidate has a calm, easy-going, low-stress, drama -free attitude toward patients, staff and clients as well as being a quick learner and resilient. This person will have the main responsibility of technical and nursing support of all patients as well as surgical duties and all aspects of appointments--including but not limited to client education, history, restraint, obtaining diagnostic samples, preparing vaccines, injections, utilizing in house laboratory equipment, obtaining radiographs, as well as general customer service. An ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a calm, organized, efficient manner is mandatory. This position requires self-motivation, ability to work as a team and individual, neatness and congeniality. There is opportunity for management positions.
We are currently open Monday through Friday. This position is for 8am-6pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. Other days may be available during the week. There are no emergency or weekend duties.
