Old Rochester Regional School District is seeking an innovative & collaborative General Education Science Teacher (Long Term Substitute) at Rochester Memorial School, in Rochester, MA to cover a leave of absence starting on August 31, 2026 through October 30, 2026. Responsibilities: Provide direct service and consultation for studentsUse a significant portion of each day in direct contact with students for counseling, planning or decision makingProvide classroom and small group instructionProvide crisis counseling and referral when necessary to outside agenciesMediate with students and staff to resolve conflicts that interfere with the learning processProvide consultation to staff regarding student difficulty in the classroom and assistance in developing positive behavior intervention and support plansServe as a resource person to staff to provide information about behavioral, social, emotional matters which may have significance for students programCollaborate with teachers, administrators and parentsAll other duties assigned by the principalThe mission of our school system is to inspire all students to think, to learn and to care.
