Job Description
We are looking for Heavy Equipment Operators to join our growing team in Colorado. Equipment Operators play a vital role in the successful delivery of construction projects by skillfully and safely operating machinery to support earthwork, grading, utility installation, and other construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, and motor graders in accordance with safety and productivity standards.

Read and interpret site plans to perform precise grading, trenching, and backfill operations.

Perform daily maintenance and pre/post-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.

Adhere to WSR’s safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Collaborate with the superintendent, foremen, and other crew members to ensure project tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.

Assist with site setup, cleanup, and general labor duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
-
3+ years of heavy equipment operation experience on civil construction or infrastructure projects.

Working knowledge of safe operating procedures and equipment capabilities/limitations.
-
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to work full shifts outdoors in varied terrain and weather conditions.
Preferred:
-
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
-
Experience operating equipment in tight or sensitive urban environments.

Familiarity with stormwater or utility infrastructure construction.
Physical Requirements:
-
Ability to sit, stand, and operate machinery for extended periods.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate uneven terrain.

Comfortable working in dusty, noisy, and active jobsite conditions.
