Tatum by Randstad has been engaged for a 3-6 month consulting Senior FP&A Manager position with a manufacturing company. This role will play a pivotal part in driving post-merger financial integration, operational profitability, and long-range planning.
Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, you will serve as a core financial partner to executive leadership, owning full-cycle FP&A and driving continuous improvement across business operations.

responsibilities:
- Executive Strategic Partnering: Partner directly with the VP/GM to align financial strategies with operational goals, optimize product margins, and drive profitable growth.

Planning & Forecasting: Lead the annual Operating Plan, monthly/quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial modeling, delivering corporate submissions via Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).

Financial Performance & Analytics: Own full-scope financial evaluation (P&L, Balance Sheet, Free Cash Flow), delivering variance analysis across volume, product mix, backlog, and shipping profit.

Product Profitability: Lead cross-functional initiatives across Sales, Marketing, and Operations to analyze low-margin product lines, refine pricing strategies, and maximize gross margins.

Executive Presentations: Build and present monthly operational reviews, executive decks, and board-level commentary.

Process Improvement: Champion continuous improvement frameworks (Lean / Kaizen) by standardizing financial workflows and leveraging automation tools.
qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA or Master's degree preferred.

Experience: 7+ years of progressive FP&A experience, with strong corporate or business unit exposure.

Industry Focus: Direct experience within a Manufacturing / Standard Cost Accounting environment.

Technical Stack:
- Advanced proficiency in HFM (Hyperion Financial Management).

Advanced Excel skills (Macros, financial modeling) and PowerPoint executive presentations.

Bonus: Exposure to scripting/data analytics tools (Python, VB, SQL, Power BI).
- Core Competencies: Full-statement financial literacy (P&L, BS, Cash Flow), sharp analytical problem-solving, and proven ability to influence senior executives.
