Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and visionary Principal of Special Education Preschool to lead our preschool community with passion and strategic insight. This leadership role involves overseeing all aspects of program quality, staff management, curriculum development, and compliance. The ideal candidate will inspire excellence in early childhood special education, foster collaborative teamwork, and ensure a positive, inclusive environment for both children and staff. Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to develop, implement, and evaluate innovative curricula tailored for preschool children with special needs.
- Manage daily operations of the preschool, including supervision of teachers, therapists, and administrative staff.
- Lead curriculum development efforts to ensure educational programs meet developmental standards and individual student needs.
- Oversee budgeting processes, resource allocation, and fundraising initiatives to support program sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to early childhood special education.
- Foster strong relationships with families, community partners, and stakeholders through effective communication and public speaking engagements.
- Supervise classroom environments to promote best practices in teaching, behavior management, and student engagement. Qualifications
- Extensive experience in teaching students with special needs within early childhood settings.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in an educational or administrative capacity.
- Strong background in curriculum development, strategic planning, and education administration.
- Demonstrated success in fundraising and managing budgets for educational programs.
- Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking and community engagement.
- Supervising experience in a preschool or similar educational environment is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of current regulations governing special education services for preschool-aged children. Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
