SkiEssentials Stowe (formerly Pinnacle Ski & Sports) is a family-owned shop with the soul of a small Vermont ski store and the reach of a large retailer. We carry an extensive selection of brands and gear, and we pride ourselves on deep product knowledge, genuine enthusiasm for winter sports, and getting customers fired up about the outdoors.

THE ROLE
We are hiring Ski Technicians for our busy Demo & Rental department. You'll be at the heart of the on-snow experience — helping customers get on the right skis for the conditions, mounting and tuning gear, and keeping our demo fleet in top shape. If you've got the technical skills, great. If you're the right person and willing to learn, we'll train you.
Responsibilities
Mount and adjust ski bindings to spec
Function test and safety-check bindings
Assist customers in selecting demo skis matched to current conditions and terrain
Support ski sales conversations — product knowledge training provided
Keep the demo/rental fleet organized, tuned, and ready
Maintain a fast-paced, efficient workflow during peak periods — especially weekends
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The right candidate brings a can-do, take-initiative attitude and actually enjoys being busy. You thrive when it's hectic, stay positive under pressure, and keep the energy fun for both customers and co-workers.
Preferred but not required
Experience as a ski tech, ski tuner, or in a rental/demo shop
Background in retail, the outdoor industry, or snow sports
Comfort working quickly and accurately in a high-volume environment
Non-negotiables
Weekend availability — this is our busiest time in the rental department
Positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for skiing and the outdoors
Reliable, shows up, and takes pride in the work
