Duties
- Develop detailed and precise construction estimates by reviewing plans, specifications, and bid documents using industry-standard software.
- Conduct thorough site visits to gather on-the-ground insights that influence accurate pricing and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with clients, general contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to negotiate costs, terms, and contracts that benefit all parties involved.
- Analyze project scopes to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and implement effective cost control measures throughout the bidding process.
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that clearly outline scope of work, pricing strategies, and timelines.
- Assist in managing contract negotiations and ensuring all contractual obligations are met with clarity and transparency.
- Support project management teams by providing accurate estimates that align with project budgets and schedules.
Skills
- Proficiency in construction estimating software.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with clients and general contractors.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, site operations, and construction management principles.
