Job Overview
We are looking for a strong network architecture knowledge to document existing network infrastructure across multiple sites. This will not include any design work, just creating drawings for what our Network Architecture already is.
This role specializes in documenting what already exists—not designing new networks. The CAD Operator works closely with IT to verify systems in use, trace how data moves across the environment, and convert that information into accurate physical and logical as‑built drawings and data flow documentation. The goal is to create a single source of truth for current infrastructure, interconnections, and data paths.
Responsibilities
- Work with IT to document existing network architecture
- Identify systems, interconnections, and data flows
- Create and maintain physical, logical, and data flow diagrams
- Ensure documentation accuracy and consistency
- Support additional CAD work as capacity allows
Requirements
- CAD drafting experience
- Solid understanding of enterprise network architecture
- Ability to ask the right technical questions and validate information
- Experience creating accurate as-built documentation
- Networking Knowledge
- 1-5 years of relevant experience
Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
