Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using Square.
- Process cash, credit card, and digital payments efficiently while handling cash register operations with precision.
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, including assembling orders and managing food safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, including food handling areas, counters, and equipment, adhering to sanitation and food safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support quick service delivery during peak hours.
- Manage retail sales transactions smoothly while providing excellent customer service, ensuring each guest leaves satisfied.
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Strong familiarity with POS systems such as Square, UBER, ChowNow and GrubHub, ability to process transactions accurately is essential.
- Culinary experience or food preparation skills are a plus, along with knowledge of food handling and safety management.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, change calculation, and order totaling.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain sanitation standards at all times.
- Prior experience in retail sales transactions or cashiering roles is advantageous.
