Job Summary
Beisser Lumber Company is looking for delivery drivers to deliver building material products (primarily doors, windows, and trim material) to customer project sites in the greater Des Moines area.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Driving company truck to and from project sites
- Verify orders for accuracy
- Ensure secure loads for safe transportation
- Pick up material credits as required
- Clean and organize warehouse and yard
- Assist in other work areas as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Acceptable driving record (within insurance standards)
- Ability to drive and work in all types of weather in a safe and efficient manner
- Previous experience operating box van trucks helpful
- Prior forklift experience a plus
- Ability to work an average of 50+ hours per week
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
