Role Overview
We are seeking a high-energy Junior Commercial Sales Consultant to drive outside business development. This is a true “hunter” role focused on direct canvassing, networking, and closing deals with small- to mid-sized businesses. You will focus on building your pipeline, developing your sales skills, and contributing to early-stage commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities
Field Sales & Execution

Direct Canvassing: Execute daily outbound activity, including door-to-door prospecting in the Houston market
- Lead Conversion: Manage and close high-intent inbound leads from website traffic and residential referrals
- Relationship Building: Establish trust with business owners through transparency and a consultative approach
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects
- Personal Production: Meet or exceed monthly sales activity and revenue targets
Team Contribution

Playbook Adoption: Execute established sales processes, messaging, and pricing strategies
- Market Feedback: Share insights from the field to improve messaging, offers, and onboarding
- Collaboration: Partner with Commercial Ops to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Develop strong product and market knowledge
Required Qualifications

Experience: 1–2+ years in outside sales or customer-facing roles
- Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability or strong potential to close through cold outreach
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Texas energy market (preferred, not required)
- Attributes: High energy, coachable, resilient, and self-motivated
