Post Production Technician
Job Overview
This is a starting position that can evolve into a machine operator role. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Post Production Technician to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will focus on post-op finishing work — sanding, drilling, tapping, deburring, reaming, and polishing — while also supporting broader production tasks like materials handling. This position requires steady hands, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read prints accurately.
Responsibilities
- Perform post-op finishing work, including sanding, drilling, tapping, deburring, reaming, and polishing.
- Read and interpret prints/blueprints to ensure finished parts meet exact specifications.
- Inspect finished components for quality, consistency, and adherence to tolerances.
- Operate tooling and machinery safely and efficiently during finishing operations.
- Package finished products for shipment, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Assist in the handling and organization of materials for production.
- Support the fabrication of components as per specifications.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to ensure timely production.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines within the manufacturing facility.
Skills
- Steady hands and strong attention to detail, essential for precision finishing work.
- Ability to read prints and apply finishing techniques such as sanding, drilling, tapping, deburring, reaming, and polishing.
- Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of tools and equipment used in manufacturing.
- Work effectively, demonstrating attention to detail and quality control.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Experience using measuring tools required
- Experience with Haas NGC control is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $38.00 per hour
