Status: Full-Time, in-office
Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000

Summit Family Law is hiring a bold, values-driven senior paralegal who wants to do meaningful work that actually helps people walk away from divorce and family law matters stronger than they started. We are looking for someone who will embrace the values of the firm and strive daily to provide top notch legal work to our family law clients. We need an experienced senior-level paralegal who can hit the ground running. This is not an entry-level paralegal position.

What You’ll Do:
- Client communications
- Client intake
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement packets, quitclaim deeds, QDROs, and proposed orders
- Help attorneys prepare for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
- Electronic file organization
- Utilize AlaCourt and AlaFile
- Maintain attorney’s calendar
- Bill 30 hours per week
Who You Are:
- Certified paralegal or have a degree in paralegal studies
- Minimum of 5 years of Alabama family law experience preferred; minimum 5 years civil litigation experience encouraged
- Comfortable in emotionally charged situations
- Technologically proficient
- Detail-oriented, self-directed, and hungry to take feedback and development
