Role Description
Note: This is a hybrid role based in Irving, TX. You must be able to work onsite at least three days per week. Fully remote candidates will not be considered.
This is a full-time contract role for a Marketing Director, Audience Acquisition to support a Brilliant Workplaces client engagement with a global business-to-business events and media company. The Director owns audience acquisition strategy across a portfolio of large-scale industry events, leading a team of product marketers, campaign managers, and communications planners to turn strategy into campaigns that grow attendance, ticket revenue, and repeat participation. The role reports to the Vice President of Marketing for the portfolio and partners closely with brand, operations, content, and analytics teams. This role has the potential to become permanent.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Own the audience acquisition strategy for a portfolio of large-scale events, tying campaign plans directly to attendance and revenue targets
· Translate that strategy into tactical plans the team executes across every event in the portfolio
· Set the attendee value proposition and ticket pricing strategy in partnership with brand, operations, and insights teams
· Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product marketers, campaign managers, and communications planners
· Direct the briefing, launch, and ongoing optimization of campaigns that drive registration and ticket sales
· Lead forward planning so campaigns launch early enough to hit their targets
· Deliver attendance growth, engagement, satisfaction, and retention through lead generation, demand generation, and attendee communications
· Use audience data and analytics to guide segmentation, targeting, and where campaign dollars go
· Define and monitor KPIs, and present campaign performance and recommendations to senior leadership
· Partner with event teams to protect the value proposition and carry it from digital campaign through to the onsite experience
· Partner with content and commercial marketing teams to design one consistent attendee journey
· Gather and prioritize attendee feedback to shape pricing, packages, and event offerings
· Improve team workflows to shorten campaign turnaround and direct resources toward the highest return
· Bring new tools and technology, including AI, into the team's work to scale and personalize campaigns
Skills and Software
· Proven leadership in audience acquisition, attendee marketing, or demand generation in a fast-paced environment, including hiring, coaching, and developing a marketing team
· Pricing and value proposition development for a ticketed, subscription, or other recurring-revenue product
· Marketing analytics, audience segmentation, and KPI reporting using tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, or Power BI
· Marketing automation and CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, Eloqua, or HubSpot
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at every level and build strong cross-functional relationships
Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
