Warehouse Associate/Worker
The KFI Products division at Kappers Fabricating, Inc., a family owned and operated company, seeks professional, dependable and detail-oriented individuals for our Warehouse Department. Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, and label)
- Receive and process warehouse and stock product (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory counts and keep quality standards high
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space
- Perform inventory cycle counts and provide other area support as needed
- Complete daily logs for inventory movement
- Complete product and warehouse logs accurately
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain preventive maintenance schedules on warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Stock Assembly Stations for Packaging.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Proficiency in counting and part numbers
- Ability to maintain high level of accurate documentation
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Some positions require the ability to frequently lift 40 pounds
- Knowledge of packing materials and shipping requirements
- Ability to follow established work schedule and procedures
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Proven working experience as a warehouse worker not required but recommended
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods not required
