Mountain Grape Tavern is looking for a dependable, fast-paced Line Cook to join our kitchen team! We’re a busy, chef-driven restaurant featuring elevated comfort food, Italian favorites, steaks, seafood, and creative weekly specials in the heart of Grantsville.
Responsibilities include prep work, line cooking, maintaining cleanliness, working efficiently during service, and helping deliver consistently great food to our guests.
Weekend and evening availability preferred. Kitchen experience is a plus, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn matter most.
MGT is fast-paced and having just celebrated our one-year anniversary, we are well known for our quality food.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, consistency, and attention to detail, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices and dishwashing as needed
- Ensure all food safety regulations are followed diligently, including proper knife skills and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy periods, supporting catering and special event needs as required
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is necessary
- Support other kitchen staff with meal preparation, plating, and serving duties to ensure timely delivery of orders

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude toward delivering exceptional food service
Schedule Options
- Part-time - date and times are set. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 1pm to 9pm.
- Full time - has more flexibility but the restaurant is open Wednesday through Sunday so that will be all shifts.
Pay starts at $17 per hour and goes up based on experience.
