Overview:
Compassionate Counseling for Seniors and Caregivers (www.cc4seniors.com) is dedicated to helping support older adults and caregivers during life's toughest transitions. Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that mental and emotional well-being are integral to overall health, and that therapy can be a powerful tool for achieving this balance. We specialize in life's aging processes, with specific knowledge of the losses that can occur throughout life and ways to effectively support the emotional, mental, and physical wellness of adults. We have a true passion for helping to navigate late life years.
We often collaborate with physicians, neurologists, and social workers within hospital systems in the community (i.e OSU Center for Cognitive and Memory Disorders, Ohiohealth Gerlach Center for Senior Health, Ohiohealth Behavioral Health and Riverside Psychiatry).
We are looking to expand our practice to include an additional licensed independent therapist (contract position) who share our passion in working with older adults, caregivers, and late-life transitions.
The hourly rate is based on per session rate based on the number of client sessions conducted weekly.
We are a small private practice, with fully furnished office space included, as well as access to lobby area, a recently renovated spacious conference room, fully equipped kitchen, weekly cleaning service, and WIFI.
THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION (1099)
Looking for individuals with previous experience in counseling (private practice preferred), cognitive behavioral therapy, strong documentation skills, and the ability to build rapport with clients and maintain engagement. Qualified Therapists will have experience working with older adults, families, and caregivers and have a variety of skills to address the many different issues of our clients. Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, other Behavioral Science program that qualifies for professional licensure
- Preferred license to practice independently without supervision in the state of Ohio to include one of the following: Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Independent Social Worker - Supervisor (LISW-S), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - Supervisor (LPCC-S)
- Individual professional malpractice liability insurance policy (or willingness to purchase)
- Comfortable learning new online tools and technology/EHR system
- Willingness to become credentialed with Medicare (complimentary credentialing if needed)
