The University of Arizona seeks a Director, Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country Operations for administration of the track and field and cross country programs, including all aspects of team travel and equipment liaison activities.
This position requires the ability work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
Administer the day-to-day operations of the Track and Field and Cross Country Programs.
Serve as first point of contact representation of the team with both internal and external partners.
Coordinate and execute all aspects of team travel as well as travel with the team.
Create and maintain all necessary business office documents related to team travel and recruiting, including submitting forms for reimbursement and payment.
Assist the Head Coach and Assistant Coaches with coordinating recruiting, including potential student-athlete official/unofficial campus visits and coach recruiting travel.
Coordinate home competition day operations and logistics in collaboration with facilities staff, event management staff, and opposing team(s). Schedule facilities for practices and team events.
Work directly with Compliance to ensure adherence of NCAA rules and regulations.
Serve as primary contact with various internal constituents, such as academics, event management, public relations, marketing, sports information, Wildcat Club and others, working in cooperation with their efforts in conjunction with track and field and cross country programs.
Assist in developing and maintaining community outreach programs. Aid in design and development of programs to reach out to the community, schools, and other service organizations.
Aid incoming student-athletes with initial eligibility requirements, serve as point of reference.
Assist Head Coach in budget development and oversee purchasing and expenses.
Supervise and act as a liaison on all track and field and cross country external programs.
Supervise and coordinate schedules for student managers.
Coordinate team functions, meals, and activities.
Budget accountability.
Additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge of the Sports of Track & Field and Cross Country.
Knowledge of position related NCAA, Conference, and University of Arizona rules and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree.
Three years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree.
Experience in the Sports of Track & Field and Cross Country.
Experience working in a college athletic environment.
