Summary of Position:
The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting the WIC Benefits Manager with the daily routine operation of WIC client services including scheduling and delivering certification appointments. Responsible to assist WIC Nutritionist /CPA at client certifications with intake and assessments. Responsible for outreach activities including but not limited to ongoing activities at the local health clinic and periodic outreach activities for promotion, retention of clients, and enrolling applicants. This is not a supervisory role.
Minimum Qualifications:

High school graduate or GED plus a minimum of one year experience in WIC and customer service.

Must have experience working with young children and be comfortable working with children.

Must have minimal (1 year) clinical experience, e.g., hemoglobin assessment, anthropometric data (heights/weight) assessment.
- Must have computer experience, Microsoft office, Excel, Publisher, Power point. Quick books /other bookkeeping software.

Must be willing to be trained in Civil-Rights, customer service and other areas pertinent to job responsibilities, WIC and tribal regulations.

Training as a WIC Competent Professional Authority (CPA) is optional but recommended.

Must have a valid NM driver's license to meet Santo Domingo Pueblo's liability insurance requirements and maintain eligibility for insurance.
- Must be able to satisfactorily pass a background check, MVR check, and a new hire drug screen.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. of boxes/cases/crates.
