What You’ll Do
- Provide top-quality ICU care to high-acuity patients in the SICU
- Monitor and manage post-operative recovery for cardiac, transplant, and general surgical patients
- Administer medications and treatments, including PA catheters, balloon pumps, and continuous renal replacement therapy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and recovery
- Document patient progress and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Respond swiftly to emergency events, including assignment to emergency or relief teams as directed
- Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and safety protocols
What You Need
Required:
- Active Louisiana RN license
- ACLS, BLS, NIH certification
- ICU experience, preferably with post-op cardiac and transplant patients
- Skills in PA catheter management, balloon pump handling, and renal therapy
Preferred:
- Epic experience
- Additional experience with PA catheters & balloon pumps
