Position: Youth Development Professional working with our teen program or K-5th grade program.
Status: Part-time, 20-25 hours/week. After-school hours
Report to: Teen Director or Farmington Club Director
Locations: Farmington Club
Looking for dynamic and engaging team members to work cooperatively with the Boys & Girls Club Directors to plan and prepare activities for the afterschool & summer programs, to provide supervision and engagement of club members during the afterschool & summer programs, and to be responsible for equipment and areas of the club used during the afterschool program.
DUTIES
- Supervision and engagement of club members during the afterschool & summer programs
- Supervise and ensure the safety of the club members
- Provides a positive role model for young people through communication, dress, and attitude
- Appropriately recognize the accomplishments of all Club members through the use of awards, incentives, and prizes
- Attends meetings and trainings as scheduled
- Must be flexible to change and willing to assist in all areas as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Self-Starter, able to work without supervision and as a team member
- Experience working with youth
- Valid driver’s license
- Successful completion of criminal background check
- Able to be active for extended times (3+ hours)
- Ability to have FUN!!!
