The Role
The Distribution Hub Supervisor is the on-site execution leader for emerging markets.
You oversee daily warehouse operations, deploy hourly team members, and ensure customer orders move accurately and on time. While you own daily execution, you receive support from Regional leadership for hiring strategy, analytics, and broader operational initiatives.
This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in structured environments and takes pride in consistent execution.
What You Own
Daily Execution
- Oversee sorting and staging of customer orders
- Ensure on-time dispatch and food safety compliance
- Create and maintain site-specific opening and closing routines
Team Deployment & Scheduling
- Deploy team members effectively during shifts
- Manage weekly scheduling within allotted labor hours
- Adjust staffing to match order volume
- Provide real-time coaching and feedback
Inventory Management
- Own inventory counts and reorders
- Receive and organize inbound supplies
- Maintain accurate par levels
Escalation & Communication
- Identify operational issues early
- Escalate analytical, hiring, or systemic issues to leadership
- Serve as day-to-day contact for delivery drivers and chefs
What This Role Does Not Own
- Hiring strategy or long-term headcount planning
- Cross-site process design
- Company-wide initiative rollouts
- Multi-site oversight
These responsibilities sit with Hub Leads or Regional Managers.
What Success Looks Like
- Orders are dispatched accurately and on time
- Labor is managed within budgeted hours
- Inventory remains organized and stocked
- Operational issues are surfaced early
- The hub runs smoothly with structured support
Who You Are
- Experience leading small teams (3–5 people)
- Strong execution mindset
- Detail-oriented and dependable
- Comfortable using Slack and Google Sheets
- Proactive communicator
- Solutions-oriented and coachable
- You’re able to be on your feet for 5+ hours a day
Preferred qualifications (not required):
- Hospitality experience
- Customer service experience
- Warehousing, logistics, or other operations experience
Important: This is a part-time position that is in-market and on-site. We anticipate this team member will work on-location Sunday, Monday and Tuesday to start for approximately 20-24 hours per week.
