Key Qualifications:
- Active Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license; must meet all state requirements
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- School-based SLP experience highly preferred
- Must be fingerprinted through OSPI before start date
- Comfortable working onsite with K-12 populations in individual and group settings
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students on your caseload
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals alongside multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student progress and maximize communication outcomes
- Maintain thorough, timely records and prepare necessary reports in accordance with school and legal guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and team consultations throughout the year
- Foster an engaging, supportive environment that empowers students from diverse backgrounds
