Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team and deliver top-tier climate control solutions across commercial and residential properties. Responsibilities
- Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems in accordance with schematics and design specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation and extend system lifespan.
- Diagnose and repair complex HVAC system issues using electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters, and mechanical inspection techniques.
- Conduct comprehensive system repairs including mechanical systems repair, electrical repairs, refrigeration servicing, and plumbing connections.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, building automation systems (BAS), and technical manuals to accurately troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs of inspections, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering maintenance advice, and ensuring client satisfaction with all service interactions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with construction experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC system installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration if applicable.
- Ability to operate hand tools, welding equipment, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic instruments safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS), electrical systems, boiler operation, appliance repair, property maintenance or related fields is highly desirable.
- Valid EPA certification for refrigerants; additional certifications such as HVAC/R or HVAC design are advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; <PERSON> driver certification preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently.
- Strong communication skills coupled with a customer-focused attitude to ensure high-quality service delivery.
