Job Summary
North Bronx Plaintiff's personal injury law firm seeks a paralegal/legal assitant with a minimum of two (2) years experience. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will support attorneys specializing in personal injury law by managing case files, conducting legal research, and assisting with client communications. Your expertise will help streamline case workflows, ensure accurate documentation, and contribute to successful client outcomes. Responsibilities
- Manage and organize personal injury case files using legal case management systems and document management software such as CloudLex.
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, i.e., Complaints, Bill of Particulars, Note of Issues, Motions, discovery requests, Retainer and Closing Statements, settlement agreements, and correspondence with clients and opposing counsel.
- Assist attorneys with client interviews by preparing questions, taking detailed notes, and ensuring all relevant information is documented accurately.
- Review medical records, accident reports, and other evidence to support case development and valuation.
- Coordinate with medical providers, insurance companies, and experts to gather necessary documentation and facilitate communication.
Requirements
- Paralegal experience specializing in personal injury law.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with document review, proofreading, transcription, and data entry in a law office setting.
- Familiarity with legal procedures related to litigation, settlement negotiations, and court filings.
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone etiquette with clients, vendors, and team members.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
