Role Overview
The General Manager oversees all aspects of Kulture 81’s cannabis operations, including compliance, retail performance, team leadership, and customer engagement. This role requires a balance of operational discipline, people‑first leadership, and a passion for the cannabis industry.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Culture
- Build a high‑performance team aligned with Kulture 81’s mission and values.
- Lead with transparency, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and education‑driven environment for staff and customers.
Cannabis Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with state and local cannabis regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory, METRC tracking, and required documentation.
- Train staff on compliance procedures, safety protocols, and responsible sales practices.
Retail & Operational Management
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and quality.
- Manage inventory, ordering, product intake, and vendor relationships.
- Implement SOPs that support smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
Financial Performance
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Track KPIs such as sales performance, labor efficiency, and inventory accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce operational waste.
Customer & Community Engagement
- Ensure every customer receives an elevated, educational, and welcoming experience.
- Build strong relationships with local partners, vendors, and community organizations.
- Represent Kulture 81 at industry events, meetings, and brand‑building opportunities.
Strategic Execution
- Support expansion initiatives, product launches, and brand‑driven campaigns.
- Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with ownership on long‑term growth strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leader in cannabis, retail, or hospitality.
- Strong understanding of cannabis regulations, compliance systems, and METRC.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Ability to manage budgets, interpret financial reports, and drive performance.
- Passion for cannabis culture, education, and customer experience.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
