Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, suspension maintenance, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles, such as engine problems, brake malfunctions, and electrical system failures
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve automotive issues
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems or areas of concern
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with sales techniques is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) is preferred
- Experience working with suspension systems, shocks, struts, and other automotive repairs
