Independent Living Services (ILS) – Adults
Do you enjoy helping others build independence and confidence in their daily lives? Spectacular Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to work with adults receiving Independent Living Services in the community.
This role is ideal for someone who is patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoys making a positive impact.
About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional, you will work one-on-one with adult participants to support independence, daily living skills, and community engagement.
Responsibilities may include:
- Supporting adults with daily living skills (hygiene routines, organization, budgeting, etc.)
- Assisting with community outings and activities
- Providing structure, encouragement, and guidance toward personal goals
- Supporting participants with education, job readiness, or skill-building as needed
- Maintaining professional, respectful, and supportive interactions at all times
Schedule & Flexibility
- Part-time positions available
- Sessions scheduled based on participant needs
- Ideal for individuals looking for flexible hours
Compensation
- Competitive hourly pay
- Mileage reimbursement when applicable
- Opportunities for consistent hours as caseloads grow
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check, TB clearance, and required onboarding
- Physically able to support adults in community-based settings
- Prior experience in ILS, DSP, caregiving, or behavioral support is a plus (but not required)
