The Maintenance Controls Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of our manufacturing equipment and systems. This position involves a combination of technical expertise in control systems, electrical engineering, and maintenance practices within a food manufacturing environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Control Systems Management:
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, and other automation components.
Electrical Systems Maintenance:
Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including motors, drives, sensors, and other electrical components.
Documentation and Reporting:
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education/Certifications and Experience:
Technical or Associate Degree, Electrical Journeyman’s License, or certificate in related trades, preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), HMI development, and SCADA systems.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
Work involves daily and frequent exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, odors, darkness and/or poor lighting, noise, and vibration. Seasonal exposure to weather elements to include, but not limited to, extreme temperatures, wetness, and humidity.
Work environment involves daily exposure to physical risks and hazards, such as working around mechanical equipment, mechanical hazards, forklifts, chemical hazards, electrical hazards, fire and explosives hazards, communicable diseases.
Position requires the ability to stand; walking around office, warehouse, and plant; lifting and carrying packages up to 50 pounds; utilizing fine dexterity; and reaching, kneeling, crawling, and twisting on a daily basis.

$28.34 - $48.60
