Control Technician
Location: Franklin, KY
Shift: 2nd and 3rd shift available
Pay: $35-$40 per hour + Shift Premium
Full time permanent position with benefits
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot PLC logic and automated equipment controls to help maintenance teams resolve production issues.
- Diagnose equipment failures and restore production lines quickly.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and blueprints.
- Troubleshoot:
a. PLCs and control systems
b. Sensors and electrical components
c. Motors, drives, and automation equipment
d. Hydraulics and pneumatics
e. Mechanical systems
- Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
- Support equipment installations, modifications, and continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year degree from a technical college or minimum of 5 years on-the-job training with heavy industrial manufacturing facility in skilled trade capacity preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
