TM Construction Management LLC is a DCAMM-certified general contractor based in Wakefield, MA, with 14 years in business. We handle commercial, residential, hospitality, and public/municipal construction, with a growing focus on state and institutional projects. At any given time we're running roughly 20+ active jobs across the state — from housing authority renovations and school security upgrades to hotel infrastructure work and DMH facility improvements.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day field operations across our project portfolio. You'll be the eyes and ears on-site — coordinating subcontractors, enforcing schedule and safety standards, and making sure work meets spec on public and private projects alike. Our jobs range widely in scope and setting, so you should be comfortable moving between residential-scale renovations, larger municipal/institutional builds, and everything in between.
Recent and active project types include:
- Public housing authority renovations (unit modernization, exterior envelope work, guardrail/safety retrofits)
- School and municipal building renovations (security vestibules, community rooms, visitor centers)
- Hospitality/commercial work (hotel infrastructure and life-safety installs)
- State agency and DMH facility upgrades
- Structural repair and specialty coordination (parking garages, kitchen/fire system work)
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily on-site operations and manage subcontractor crews across one or more concurrent projects
- Enforce project schedules, quality control, and safety standards (OSHA compliance, MA-specific requirements)
- Coordinate directly with the project management team on scheduling, RFIs, submittals, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with public bid/procurement requirements on state and municipal jobs (DCAMM, EOHLC, and similar)
- Communicate daily progress, issues, and punch-list items back to the office
- Travel between active job sites across Massachusetts as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience supervising commercial, public, or residential construction projects
- Sage 100 a plus
- CSL
- Strong working knowledge of Massachusetts State Building Code and public construction requirements
- OSHA 10/30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors and trades simultaneously
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for multi-site travel
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Prior experience on public/institutional projects (housing authorities, schools, state agencies) a plus
Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
