JOB Under general supervision position is responsible for seeing that the facilities are kept clean and rules are obeyed. Responsible for recording scores. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Assembles game balls, flags, scorecards, bases, umpire’s gear scorecards and scorebooks.

Notifies proper Parks and Recreation staff member if the officials do not show up.
- Patrols fields periodically making sure spectators stay only in authorized areas.

Makes sure first aid kit is available.

Distributes makeup schedules or other correspondence to coaches.

Cleans bleacher areas, taking flags down, removing bases, and collecting balls and score books after final game.

Candidates may be required to hold a valid Virginia driver’s license if the operation of County vehicles will be part of their required duties.

Performs other related duties as required.
