Tempstar Staffing in Hanover, PA is seeking experienced Maintenance Technician candidates for our client in the Hanover area.
$27/hr - $30/hr depending on experience.
Schedule:
- Training will take place on 1st shift.
- After training will transition to 2nd shift.
Maintenance Tech Duties:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and motor-related issues.
- Inspect equipment and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Monitor and maintain machine fluid levels and lubrication schedules.
- Complete basic facility maintenance, including lighting, electrical, and piping repairs.
- Perform minor welding and fabrication as needed.
- Assist with equipment installation, repairs, and preventive maintenance projects.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders.
- Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist other departments with maintenance-related projects as needed.
Maintenance Tech Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Basic welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical manuals is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age to meet employment eligibility requirements.
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
