We are seeking a compassionate, driven, and professional Admissions & Outreach Coordinator to join our team. This dual-role position is critical in both connecting individuals to care and building strong community partnerships that support access to treatment.
The Admissions & Outreach Coordinator serves as the bridge between the community and The Phoenix. This role is responsible for:

Managing the admissions process from first contact to admit

Educating and guiding prospective clients, families, and referral partners

Building and maintaining referral relationships in the community

Increasing awareness and engagement through outreach efforts
This role requires a balance of relationship-building, urgency, organization, and strong communication skills.

Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective clients, families, and referral sources
-
Complete intake assessments and guide clients through the admissions process
-
Ensure completion of all required documentation, including intake checklist and guarantor agreements
-
Communicate effectively with insurance providers and verify benefits as needed
-
Maintain consistent follow-up with leads and referral sources
-
Demonstrate strong phone communication and ability to build trust quickly

Participate in rotating on-call evenings and weekends
-
Develop and maintain relationships with referral partners, detox centers, healthcare providers, and community organizations

Represent The Phoenix at community events, networking functions, and professional meetings

Conduct presentations and educational sessions to increase awareness of services

Track and report outreach activities, outcomes, and growth opportunities

Collaborate with leadership to evaluate and improve outreach strategies

Strong follow-through on commitments and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities with efficiency and urgency

Minimum 2 years of experience in admissions, outreach, behavioral health, healthcare, or related field

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge of behavioral health systems and referral processes preferred

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (KIPU, Salesforce, or similar)

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (must qualify for company insurance)

Ability to travel locally for outreach activities

Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Flexibility required for on-call nights and weekends
-
$18-$20 /hour starting (DOE)
