Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Support bussing and cleaning duties to ensure dining areas are tidy and inviting for guests
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or stock while practicing safe lifting techniques
- Serve food and beverages efficiently during service hours, ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Operate POS systems like POS for order processing and payment handling accurately
- Support food running duties by delivering orders from the kitchen to dining areas promptly while maintaining quality standards
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations is advantageous
- Experience with kitchen tasks such as cleaning, bussing, or basic food preparation is beneficial
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and provide excellent in-person customer service
- Experience using POS systems like SQUARE is a plus but not mandatory; training will be available
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction
