We are a small, privately owned medical practice seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing personalized patient care in a supportive and positive work environment.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Location: San Antonio, TX
- Pay: Competitive and based on experience
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Assist providers with patient care and procedures
- Document patient information accurately in the EMR
- Administer injections and medications as directed
- Handle phone calls, scheduling, and patient communication
- Perform prior authorizations, referrals, and insurance verification as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms
- Support front office operations as needed
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant Certification required
- Experience in a medical office preferred
- Detail oriented
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of EMR systems preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment
