Praus Dentistry opened about 4 years ago in West Cary. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time or part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with dentists to co-diagnose patients' dental problems.
- Conduct thorough hygiene examinations, prophy, periodontal maintenance, and scaling & root planing.
- Perform clinical auxiliary procedures when necessary: Sealants and Occlusal guard
- Take x-rays, with support from a dental assistant when needed.
- Capture intraoral dental photographs (Training provided if necessary).
- Utilize intraoral scanners for mouth scans (Training provided if necessary).
- Obtain local anesthesia certification (Training available if required).
- Sharpen and maintain hygiene dental instruments.
- Manage recall scheduling for assigned patients.
Experience:
- New graduates are welcome.
- Current BLS/CPR and radiology certifications.
Work Schedule:
- Mon: closed
- Tue, Wed, Thu: 8 am to 5 pm (1 hour lunch break)
- Friday: 8 am to 3 pm without lunch break
- No weekend shifts
Pay Range: $45 to $50 per hour,
