We began manufacturing metal framing in October 2004 with the opening of our first location in Cambridge, OH. We have grown to 4 plants with a nationwide footprint and become an industry leader in premium metal framing components.
Job Summary:
We have immediate opening for a 1st shift production employee
- This position is fast paced, yet not overly physically exerting.
- Our products are predominantly steel C shaped hollow studs that weigh approximately 4 lbs. each and are moved via conveyors and forklifts resulting in minimal heavy lifting.
- Our Plants are increasingly automated with simple to use touch screen controls.
- Telling offers hands on training programs complete with pay raise incentives in accordance with our career path plan.
General Duties:
- Packaging Team: identification, segregation, and packaging via banding of finished goods in accordance with the company Quality & Safety Procedures.
- Roll Form Technicians: control the product production process by continually monitoring product quality and thru-put of our state of tooling and high-speed roll forming equipment.
Responsibilities, Duties, Skills, and Experience:
- Safety first! Embody all Telling safety protocols and procedures.
- Attendance: we offer flexible schedules for some positions and shifts. Regardless of shift time, communication is important. Be where & when you say you will be.
- Can-Do attitude.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of plant and equipment.
- Teamwork: maintain working relationships with plant personnel.
- Familiar with steel, steel fabrication, stamping or roll forming is preferred, but not required.
Education and Requirements:
- High School diploma preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Legally be able to work in the USA.
- Have consistent means of transportation to and from work.
- No experience necessary, $16 for 3-month probation period. Bump to $18 an hour after probation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
