<Duties>
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately
- Greet customers warmly, providing friendly and professional customer service at all times
- Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and accuracy
- Assist customers with product questions, product demos, and upselling items to enhance their shopping experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout areas, including stocking shelves and merchandising products
- Promote store promotions and special offers through effective communication and upselling techniques
- Support inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting product demos when appropriate, and assisting with inventory counts
<Requirements>
- Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions confidently
- Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs
- Excellent phone etiquette for answering inquiries professionally over the phone
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining genuine customer care
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, and retail sales is advantageous for success in this role
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while providing outstanding customer service
