Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and bring outdoor spaces to life with your energy and skill! In this role, you will assist in maintaining and enhancing residential, commercial, and public landscapes. Your hands-on work will include planting, trimming, mowing, and installing various landscape features. Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees and shrubs
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and excavators safely and efficiently
- Support planting projects by preparing soil, planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and installing landscape features like hardscape elements
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or clogs and assisting with system adjustments
- Perform general site cleanup including debris removal, mulching, and snow plowing during winter months
- Follow safety protocols related to pesticide management, plant identification, and equipment operation
- Collaborate with team members on landscape installation projects and routine maintenance tasks to ensure quality results
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping
- Experience or interest in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred
- Ability to identify common plants and understand basic plant care requirements
- Knowledge of irrigation systems operation and troubleshooting is a plus
- Prior construction experience or familiarity with hardscape installation is advantageous
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions carefully and work safely in outdoor environments
- Valid driver’s license preferred; ability to operate equipment such as excavators or snow plows is a bonus

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
