Rolling Rice is a fast-casual, counter-service teriyaki and sushi roll restaurant in Rosemead. Experience making sushi is preferred but not required. We are looking for someone who works well in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in preparing quality food.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant standards
- Assist with sushi preparation (experience preferred)
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with prep work and ingredient preparation
- Work efficiently with the kitchen team during busy hours
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen experience preferred
- Sushi making experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift kitchen supplies
- Must be able to speak Spanish.
- Basic English communication skills are a plus.
Schedule:
- Morning shifts (11 AM - 4 PM) Tu - Thr, Sat and Sunday
