Responsibilities
- Lead a VPK classroom following Florida standards
- Create fun and educational lesson plans
- Support children’s emotional, social, and academic development
- Maintain a safe, clean, and positive classroom environment
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff
- Encourage learning through play, creativity, and structure
- Track children’s progress and classroom activities
Requirements
- DCF 45 Hours completed
- VPK credentials required (CDA, FCCPC, or equivalent)
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- Passion for early childhood education
- Positive attitude, patience, and strong communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
