Labeling Project Specialist
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite) – Local Candidates Only
Pay: $43–45/hour
Contract Position
We are seeking a Labeling Project Specialist to lead the development, revision, and implementation of product labeling and literature for medical devices. This role partners with cross-functional teams to ensure labeling is accurate, compliant, and delivered on schedule throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Manage labeling deliverables including IFUs/DFUs, labels, cartons, pouches, and artwork.
- Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Lead cross-functional reviews, revisions, and approvals.
- Ensure labeling complies with regulatory, quality, and internal requirements.
- Coordinate artwork generation, desktop publishing, document control, and release activities.
- Monitor project risks, timelines, and dependencies while providing project updates.
- Drive labeling consistency, accuracy, and continuous process improvements.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in a regulated industry.
- Medical device experience required, preferably with electrical or capital equipment.
- 2+ years of labeling, documentation, or technical writing experience.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and MS Project.
- Strong project management, organization, and communication skills.
