Job Overview
Behavior Learning and Development Group is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our clinic-based team on a per diem (as-needed) basis.
This role focuses on our early intervention toddler program (ages 18–36 months), providing services to children and families through our partnership as a vendor with Valley Mountain Regional Center (VMRC).
We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about early childhood development and enjoys working in a play-based, family-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for toddlers (18–36 months)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide play-based therapy targeting communication, social interaction, and early feeding skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Coach and educate caregivers to support development at home
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with VMRC guidelines
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP license
- CCC-SLP preferred (CFs may be considered)
- Experience or strong interest in early intervention/pediatrics
- Familiarity with Regional Center services preferred
- Strong communication and caregiver coaching skills
- Ability to work independently in a clinic setting
Schedule
- Per diem / as-needed
- Flexible scheduling based on caseload
- Daytime availability preferred
Pay
- $75–$80 per hour
- W-2 employee status
- Compensation includes direct therapy, evaluations, and administrative/report writing time
