Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Equipment Operator to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment to support construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a solid understanding of construction site safety, and possesses the mechanical know-how to handle complex equipment. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators and other machinery to move materials and prepare sites.
- General Excavation including SEWER, UTILITIES, WATER AND ROAD CONSTRUCTION.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites by moving materials and clearing debris.
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and construction site procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines.
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators.
- knowledge of machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Construction site experience is highly preferred for understanding safety standards and operational procedures.
- Ability to read technical manuals and interpret operational instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills for working effectively within a team environment.

Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
