Purchasing Assistant Company: Lisanti Foodservice of Texas Location: Flower Mound, Texas Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary Lisanti Foodservice of Texas is seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Purchasing Assistant / Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in supporting purchasing operations while providing excellent service to our customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well in a fast-paced environment, and communicates professionally with vendors and customers. Responsibilities Assist with purchasing inventory and placing purchase orders. Monitor inventory levels and help maintain stock availability. Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, product availability, and delivery schedules. Process and track purchase orders and invoices. Provide outstanding customer service via phone and email. Enter customer orders accurately and efficiently. Resolve customer questions, concerns, and order issues professionally. Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. Maintain accurate purchasing and customer records. Perform general administrative and office duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous purchasing, procurement, customer service, or administrative experience preferred. Foodservice or distribution industry experience is a plus. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Experience with inventory or ERP software is a plus. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Dependable, professional, and a team player. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with foodservice distributors or warehouse operations preferred.
