We are looking for a reliable, responsible, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at our 7-Eleven location.
This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently and enjoys keeping a store clean, organized, and well-stocked. The store is located in a safe neighborhood and is typically very quiet during the overnight hours, with limited customer traffic.
The primary responsibilities of this position are cleaning, stocking, maintaining the store, and assisting customers when they come in.
Schedule:
The current opening is for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
We are primarily looking for someone who can work the 10:00 PM–6:00 AM overnight shift. However, for employees who would like to work additional hours, there is an option to extend the same overnight shift to 10:00 PM–8:00 AM, providing 10 hours of work per night. This is subject to availability and scheduling needs.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
- Assist customers in locating products and answering basic questions.
- Operate the POS system and accurately process customer transactions.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and presentable throughout the shift.
- Sweep, mop, wipe down counters, and clean customer areas.
- Stock shelves and maintain proper product organization.
- Front-face and straighten merchandise to keep the store looking neat.
- Restock and organize the cooler.
- Take out trash and maintain clean trash areas.
- Receive and put away deliveries, including CDC, following proper storage and rotation procedures.
- Keep coffee, hot food, and self-service areas clean, stocked, and ready for customers.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
- Work independently and stay productive during quieter periods.
What This Job Is Like:
This is a quiet overnight position at a safe neighborhood location. During much of the overnight shift, customer traffic is typically low.
Because of this, a large part of your shift will be spent cleaning, stocking, front-facing merchandise, filling the cooler, taking out trash, and keeping the store organized and ready for the next day.
When customers do come in, you will be expected to provide friendly and efficient customer service and accurately handle transactions.
Skills:
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with customers.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for maintaining stock levels and store presentation.
